After being approached by IKEA to provide a proposal for a redesign of their Restaurant Seating Area with a short timeline of 3 weeks I compiled; 

 

• A Mood Board, containing the inspiration for my design.

• A Product Board, consisting of all the IKEA products used throughout the design.

• Architectural Drawings, of the proposed design and layout.

• The Cost To Implement, consisting of the price of the IKEA products used.

 

My proposed design provides spacious seating for 20 customers to be comfortably seated at the same time.
The main focus for the seating area is the photo frames hanging from the ceiling which hold magazine covers produced by IKEA, dating as far back as the early 1900s. 

The style of the seating area provides an effortless and timeless design that can be used for a long period of time.
