Going into the second semester of my first year of university we had the opportunity to spend a few days in London. During our time in London we had the opportunity to visit the ROCA London Gallery by Zaha Hadid.

Upon approaching the gallery, the exterior appeared to have a simplistic but unique design that intrigued pedestrians walking by. From the exterior you already had the impression of the fluid movement between each panelling that constructed the walls.

Once inside you were struck with the striking contrast between the rough finish of the fibre reinforced concrete panels and the smooth, crisp, white painted walls. The fluid movement from the exterior continued throughout the inside of the gallery.
